The Jones Family Portal is now online. Here, you will find a constant source of information about the activities of family and friends of the Jones Family from Bendigo.
Pull up a pew, get comfy and meet our rather blended and unconventional family.
- Here you will find the Personal Home Pages of Shane & Family, descendants of the Jones Family - historically from Plenty, Tasmania and perhaps better known as the "Keepers of the Ponds", due to the family''s long association with the Salmon Ponds and Inland Fisheries in Tasmania.
As our site description suggests, this is a site about nothing really - but it does perhaps give you an insight into our daily lives, as well as providing a link to our Family Tree Project, so it is our hope that other members of our now "Far Flung" clan will also join this site, get in the spirit and contribute to the Family Tree, in order to bring it up to date.
We also hope that other members of our clan will also contribute to this site generally to make it an interesting place for all descendants of the Jones Family and their Friends to come and catch up on what everyone is doing now days......
Be Forewarned - this site is still in it's early days and more content will be added as time progresses.

The day was warm - about 30 C , the traffic in Melbourne was heavy - everyone was running late, but somehow made it just in the nick of time to the Old Treasury Building in Melbourne.
Tristan, Ashley, Gareth and Allan looked great with all the kids scrubbing up really well and complimenting Shane who was dressed similar to a 1920's gangster complete with hat an scarf...
The next to arrive were Shannon and Kara - both had their hair styled the same and with matching dresses and makeup were set to confuse all the guests.
Michelle also looked radiant in here Bridal attire, a strapless design that actually developed a faulty zip during the ceremony - so her attendants were continually zipping her up again!
However considering there had been no rehearsal, the ceremony went ahead quite well with Gareth handling the music and Ashley giving the bride away.
Afterwards everyone adjourned to the Treasury Gardens for a picnic reception before wishing the Bride and Groom good luck as they left on their honeymoon to Ballarat.
Thanks to Bob and Barb Kuchell for their efforts in organizing the reception and the kids for being our attendants.
Of course let's welcome Michelle, Ashley and Mathew into the family..... Last update : 06-03-2009 17:11
